| Nice picture For the treasury thing: 1° Ok for the small "shop" in the lower city then (like 1 floor, a sign in front with our names on it and "times of opening" where potential clients may meet us) - hold by Mattiston and Boomastickr if I'm right (the others don't seem too... well with this part of the job :p ) 2° I don't know if it will really be managed ingame or not BUT Zgryble was very strict, when we recruted you, that one share of every gain would go to the guild (for the "current needs" and, more important, to prepare the expedition to Lantan - which is the cornerstone of this guild ). | |

| I agree, that worked quite good for a 7 players game.
The town part was somewhat weird, probably due Kami's reading skills. The way the investigation was handled was good: not too much hassle, just enough details and an opportunity to contribute for everyone.
The travel mechanic was clunky: too much busy work and too little enjoyment out of it. If you are willing to touch it maybe we could think of a way to get the result with less rolls.
Combat was as good as expected. I wish we could have some more.
Good game everyone. | |

| I'm the one who has to thank you guys for giving me the chance to create this adventure. And thank Felondra and Moritz, they decreased the number of bandits on the road for you! - Akanon a écrit:

R: Yes, i totally agree, the road scene was too long. As we have time now until the next game, i'll think the best way to resolve it... Having said that, I will post here the same question I asked at the beginning and end of the game. You need not hurry to answer. "What days of April weekends you can NOT play (so I can fit the better day so we can all play)" As the division or not of the group, I think the first answer will help me set this up, otherwise I already have a simple way out of this ...

If you want us to engage with the travel you could manage it as a group challenge (like you did for investigation). Like you could set travelling options such as "fast", "stealthy", "careful"... and ask what everyone does to contribute to it then have a character coordinating the effort make a roll and give us a result or encounter that fits (fast-> you take less time with a good roll, careful -> you spot creatures before they attack you). If you want keep random encounters you can have a number of dice per distance and roll them at the same time and combine the results if there are multiple encounters. The idea is to roll less and have one meaningful result.

| Usually, I'd rather avoid weekends, and except next game I'll probably be in the "weeks" group. But as I want to finish your heroic rescue, OK for a weekend in April. When I am not available: 09th, (16th if possible), 17th, 23rd-24th. Yes, it's a lot, sorry... •é_è• What could be improved: • I agree with all what Akanon said about how to handle the travel. I think the aim was to have a tense journey but it is not what we really felt I guess; besides, being involved more actively would avoid character succeeding (in dice) to do something they picture as cool and it just does... nothing. Like turning into an eagle to look for danger/companion in possible danger, or like making the illusion of a fake cargo of spices, etc. • Something more personal, and something that's on the players but I the the GM can encourage: a bit more description of actions. I like to picture what's happening in my head, and when I just hear "I cast Eldricht Blast" or "I provide guidance"... I don't picture anything, I don't even know what it's supposed to look like. So if you could encourage players to describe a bit, it would be a great addition to the game, I think. Not hour-long descriptions of course, but a simple "I cast Eldricht Blast, small ghost-shaped fumes spring from my fingers and rush at the guy" or "I provide guidance. I grab my druidic focus – a small dreamcatcher necklace – and speak a few ancient words, then you feel unnatural warmth in your body." These are as you asked what could be improved (which is something I 100% approve and do as well as a GM), but I want to reiterate that the whole session was great... and we were 8!!! ^^" Congrats. - Akanon a écrit:

| I an inavailable on 16 (but 17 is cool). All the other week-ends are free for now. I still play only on week-ends, so I'll be in the week-end group. - KamiSeiTo a écrit:

That's out of scope of the game. There's nothing preventing you form doing that, but looking cool is an option since it doesn't anything for you. You can still lead by example. I feel like being lazy on this part for now, but if you are curious and ask "how does [Action] look like" I will probably tell.

| Didn't see the notification for new answers on the thread Glad the game was good! And glad we smoothen up the bad-guys-on-the-road job! For the next date, the 10 works for me! But are you sure you want a 10-people table? Will be an experience, I guess... And the 30 april (or 1st may, cause there are but 30 days in april ), I'm free too! | |
